In 2007, the University of Wolverhampton was awarded with 2 Lord Stafford awards for excellence in innovative work with Businesses in the U.K. Following that in 2009, they were ranked 2nd place in the U.K for the number of Knowledge Transfer partnerships (Graduate Placements) that it runs.
