Overview / Introduction

Business Networking

Business networking is a socioeconomic activity by which business people recognize, create or act upon business opportunities. Many business people contend business networking is a more cost-effective method of generating new business than advertising or public relations efforts. This is because business networking is a low-cost activity that involves more personal commitment than company money.

Etiquette

Through this programme, participants will be able to learn how to build relationship through networking. Participants will be able to initiate small talk at networking sessions and also be able to understand verbal and non-verbal communication components. Through these, participants will be able to build self-confidence.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to distinguish the different types of networking and explore the importance of networking for their career success. Participants will find out the areas of networking, ie, identifying the connection between networking and communication. Participants will also be learning to present professional and confidently and communications. By the end of the programme, participants will also be able to present professionally and confidently at business meals that might be the deciding factor of the successful deal!
