The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management (Financial Economics) programme enables students to acquire an in-depth understanding of a wide range of business concepts and prepares them for work in a number of general management roles in the industry of finance. The Macro & Micro environment have to be considered when embarking on this specialization to further delve into the factors affecting a business & taking calculated investments based on the information available. Case studies & practical applications of these concepts will be explored and demonstrated based on the fluctuations in the market caused by supply & demand. Through this, students will be equipped with the mindset & knowledge to make calculated decisions in their business or investments.

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management (Financial Economics), students will be eligible for entry into the Master of Business Administration / Master of Arts programme offered by the University of Greenwich (UK). Students may apply to specialise in Finance Services, International Business, Operations & Logistics or Tourism & Hospitality Management.
Students undertaking the BABM (Hons) Financial Economics programme will be expected to complete 5 modules of academic study, as well as fulfill a 30-credit Dissertation module as part of the academic and professional requirements of this course.
This programme is available on both full and part time bases, and will take 12 months to complete. Students will attend 3 semesters of academic study, and are expected to complete between 30 credits to 45 credits each semester. Full-time students will attend classes 5 days a week on weekdays, while part-time students will attend classes 2-3 times a week on weekdays and/or weekends.

Intakes for the BABM (Financial Economics) programme are available each February, June and September. All applications should be submitted to ERCI no later than 1 month before the commencement date.
Courses are assessed by a combination of coursework, practical assignments and examinations. Formative assessments will also be included, as well as self- and peer-assessment and a research project.

Students must successfully complete, or be credited with, at least 360 credits within the stipulated period of study as set by the University, either via module exemptions or completion of requisite modules.
Total course fees S$18,900.00, and are inclusive of examination fees & course materials, but not the cost of textbooks. Course fees are subject to the prevailing GST rates, and are payable to “ERC Institute Pte Ltd” in Singapore DOLLARS.
