Fee Protection Scheme (FPS)
Applicants are required to understand the Fee Protection Scheme which is a part of the legislative framework of the Private Education Act 2009, it is a requirement that all PEIs implement the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS), which serves to protect the course fees that students pay to PEIs in Singapore. Under the FPS, ERCI is required to collect no more than 12 months of fees from all students. As an added measure of protecting all our students paid course fees, their course fees must be insured under Lonpac Insurance Bhd, which is any insurance provider approved by the Council of Private Education (CPE), or an approved ESCROW account with the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Pte Ltd (HSBC).
All students' course fees are protected by insurance coverage purchased by ERCI from LONPAC Insurance Bhd, an insurance provider approved by CPE. The insurance will be purchased upon collection of course fees paid by the student to ERCI. If payment is made via e-banking, ERCI will purchase the insurance within three (3) working days. With the protection of students' fees, students will be assured of a refund of any unconsumed fees if:

Medical Insurance
As part of the legislative framework of the Private Education Act 2009, it is a requirement that all students enrolled in a PEI have to be covered under medical insurance for hospitalization, surgery and treatment costs throughout their course of studies.
ERCI, through AXA Insurance, provides group medical insurance services for our students. Students can enjoy medical insurance coverage with AXA insurance for only $70 a year. Please contact your Programme Administrator should you wish to purchase this group medical insurance.
International students holding passes other than the ICA-issued Student Pass, and students who are Singapore citizens or permanent residents, who are already covered by their own medical insurance plans, may choose to opt out of the medical insurance scheme.
In order to opt out of the medical insurance coverage, students have to provide ERCI with a copy of their medical insurance policy/certificate which meets the following EduTrust stipulated requirements:
