Academic Board
The Academic Board of ERCI is an appointed body that consists of distinguished personalities from the industry and academia and the management of the school. As the policy-making body, its role is to guide the Senior Managers in the development and implementation of strategies for the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning. It oversees the policies, programmes and all matters relating to students, including admission criteria, course content, course delivery, lecturers' performance, etc.
Dr David Chan
Chairman
Dr David Chan has over thirty five years of experience in software development, project management, management services, and education. He has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Durham and has a special interest in Educational Psychology and Learning. Dr Chan has worked with Ngee Ann Polytechnic as a Principal Lecturer for almost 30 years. He has worked in the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, the Computer Centre, the School of ICT and the Library in various capacities.
Dr Tay Chor Ter

Dr Tay Chor Ter is a senior level, results-driven professional with more than 20 years of solid, hands-on management expertise and experience in corporate training and education under his belt. Deeply passionate about education and training, Dr Tay holds a Doctor of Education from Edith Cowan University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship Management from University of Louisville. Besides being a recognized leader well known for his breadth of knowledge and experience, Dr Tay also holds a strong track record in leadership, project management, people management, relationship building and influencing skills.
Mr Melvyn Tan
Internal Member
Melvyn holds a Master of Business Administration (Entrepreneurial Management) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has more than 16 years of supervisory and management experience in sectors such as education, finance and construction, out of which nine years involved regional work. He has practical experience in the areas of sales & marketing management, customer service management, operations management, project management and quality management systems.
Mr Constantine Ng
Internal Member
Constantine holds a Master of Arts in Educational Research and an MBA in Information Technology Management. He has vast experiences both in the Management as well as in the Academic responsibilities. He was involved in the academic leadership of academic programmes from diploma all the way to postgraduate courses and liaises with University and National agencies on course development.
Examination Board
The Examination Board is responsible for the internal moderation for a set of modules of each Academic Segment of ERCI. This panel will confirm the marks awarded for each module. All marks from the Examination Board are supplied to the Academic Director by the head of Student Services who will then provide the same results to the Progression and Awards Examination Board which determines classification of awards and progression of students.

Dr Donald Tan

Dr Donald Tan holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Western Australia, a Master in Management Research and a Bachelor of Business Administration (First Class Honors) from the University of Mississippi. He is an independent marketing & management consultant and currently sits on the advisory panels for Gerson Lehrman Technology Council, Primary Global Research and the Society of Industry Leaders. Previously, Dr Tan held senior marketing and management positions in the hi-tech industry for several MNCs, with responsibilities over Asia Pacific. He has often been invited to speak at seminars and conferences globally and has been featured in the Singapore Straits Times, Australia Business News, Asian Supermarket, Asian Electronics Industry, Display Devices, Digital Home, Wireless World and China C114. Dr Tan was recognized for his contribution in the field of marketing and was the recipient of several awards and accolades including "Outstanding Achievement in Marketing" by the American Marketing Association, "Most Creative Award" by Siemens, "Asia Pacific Vice-President Award" and "Key Contributor Award" by Tellabs, as well as "All American Scholar Awards by the United States Achievement Academy.
Dr Lim Cheng Hwa

Dr Lim was elected a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom) in 2003 and he is the current President of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (Singapore). In 2010, Dr Lim was also elected to be a fellow of The Chartered Management Institute (United Kingdom), honoring his many years of contribution to management. He is the founding President of Silver Ribbon Singapore, a voluntary organization that promotes mental health. For the last 10 years, Dr Lim has been a Certified Program Leader with the world renowned Louis Allen Associates Management System and has delivered at numerous conferences and seminars. Since 2003, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of CIMNET, a subsidiary of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom) which runs E-marketing Diploma in the Asia-Pacific region. Dr. Lim completed his Ph.D in Marketing with University of Strathclyde in 1996, focusing on the area of technological innovation. Academically, Dr. Lim has also lectured, tutored and supervised a range of students from bachelor degree to doctoral candidates with Southern Cross University (Australia), University of Southern Australia (Australia), University of New South Wales (Australia), University of Wales (UK) as well as University of Bradford (UK). He has conducted numerous seminars and workshops in the expert areas of management, innovation and marketing in Singapore and travelled frequently to the rest of the Asia-Pacific region to deliver the seminars.
Mr Daniel Ong Siow Peng

Daniel, who specializes in Accountancy and Finance subjects, have been teaching and tutoring postgraduate to diploma programmes since 1994. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester. He is also a certified public accountant and a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has over 30 years of experience in his chosen field and is well respected and liked among the students he has taught.
Mr Habib Kassim

Habib holds a Diploma in Materials Management, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has been lecturing and training for the past seven years with respected institutions on various subjects. Habib have held senior portfolios in public and private sectors and have 20 years of experience working with Multi-National Companies in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Singapore. He have worked in various senior management positions in human resource, marketing, operations, customer service, warehousing & distribution, logistics, purchasing and supply chain.
Ms Sheilvy Dewi Soetanto
Internal Member
Sheilvy holds a Bachelor of Economics in Financial Management and Master of Science with specialization in Banking and Finance. She has been lecturing in Financial Management and Capital Budgeting and did some researches on financial topics. Despite her keen interest in education sector, she also developed some marketing experience in banking industry for the past few years.
