The need for business diplomas and above qualifications across Asia is becoming increasingly obvious as regional economies are showing sustained robust growth. With this, the increasing liberalization of trade internationally is driving the need for professionals with advanced business skills and knowledge. Currently, neither local nor regional educational providers have the capacity to meet this rising demand for business administration diplomas, and ERCI aims, in part, to satisfy this demand by delivering quality degree programmes focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, practical relevance and a passion for excellence.
The Advanced Diploma in Business Administration Programme enables the student to attain the thinking skills, creative ability and technical knowledge needed to become professionals in their chosen field, taking into account the context of their work and the ever changing global environment. Students learn to be flexible and sensitive to the dynamic changes in business trends and the needs of their industry.
A focus is placed on the student’s development of his or her own individual business leadership development. The programme seeks to introduce new ideas and practices as a development from their previous experience within the advanced diploma level (or equivalent previous experience). The programme recognises and emphasises the value of the business process from concept through to realisation of practical business solutions, and presentation. This is delivered through lectures, tutorials and students are assessed through research and project work, presentations, written assignments and examinations.
Main Objective of the Course
- Develop the student’s ability in the development and production of business solutions to real life problems faced by companies. - Develop the student’s ability to multi-task, to minimise resources and maximise returns. - Develop the ability to spot market trends and to be able to forecast trends and demands - Enable the student to realise the development of their ideas from concept to completion. - Give the student a wider understanding of cultural and contextual issues in the field of business - Develop the student’s understanding of professional practice, the ability to manage time effectively and work independently or in a group
